A fluke trip put eight in the box in the ocean Wednesday .That was a good catch of keepers to 4 ½ pounds, and a couple of 10-pound blues were mixed in. The drift was slow, terrible, and tough for fluking, and the catch probably would’ve been better with a better drift. More winds could’ve helped, and seas were flat. Spearing, squid, strips were used on the rigs, Barnegat Bay fluke fishing was good for a lot of action around the area of the BB marker to the 40 buoy but the keeper ratio was 1keeper. about10throwback to 1 keeper.
