 Island Beach State Park gave up five keeper fluke, a bunch of throwbacks, a couple of 1-1/2- to 2-pound blues and a couple of ling on a trip Saturday withJohn Daggan and his crew. Lots of fluke were around, and shorts had to be weeded through for keepers. The bait of choice was sand eels, spearing and squid. A fluke trip Sunday was cancelled because of forecasts for thunder storms. The bay is holding lots of shorts but some keepers can be had. Only four weekends are left in the fluke season.
